This project on stress level ranking one through ten, for me it was an easy three or a four. This project was not challenging at all which I liked, one of the successful exhibition that didn't have a lot of people with stress.
During exhibition we had to dress and act as a important person from the Renaissance or a made up characters.I choose a well known artist named Artemisia Gentileschi. The most challenging part was figuring out how your person acted. Question that were asked such as “How was your character when angry?” I wouldn’t know, the websites don't say. A person with a made up character would know because they made them up! It was a bit more complicated with the already alive characters. Because not everything was known about them, just more of their accomplishments.
In this project we had a personal piece that reflected our character Such as mine, I wrote a journal/diary for my characters for she had many unfortunate events in her life. I received a lot of feedback from students and from my mother. My mom helped me tons were critiquing and helping me create this personal piece. Students told me it was well done but I might want to mention my name, which I didn't do. Artemisia's life story was well written and the emotions were spilled onto the pages.
I believe I did good on my written piece. I researched all I had with my chosen person and I put as much detail how the person was feeling without knowing her.
Im very happy and proud how everything turned out. It was an amazing exhibition that don't require a lot of stress. I tried to help out whatever I could, whenever my own group didn't need me I was helping with the royalty party of the exhibition. Our exhibition was split into different parts of occupation and status. I was in the artist ally for I was an artist many royal faces were found at the royal table which was located in the tenth grade wing.
Students were asked if we could change or fix anything for this project for future classes or use. I suggest changing limiting grouping next time because many groups had little to two group members and many such as mine were super huge that had up to twenty members! I believe maybe broadening out a workstation as well because many stations seemed too small and would be well combined onto other groups. Also maybe next time we can have some people be characters and more behind the scenes kind of group that are in charge of setup or in charge of background lights and music.
After this project, I believe that I do know the history side of the Renaissance, their main ideas were bringing arts from ancient civilizations such as the Greeks and Romans. But I didn't get to experience the art side, the other team got to experience art class alongside this project and I would think that would help with having the mindset of those in the reconnoissance.
