Paragraph 1: Talk about your group dynamic. Who was in your group? How did you work together? What went well in terms of collaboration? What are some areas that you could grow as a group member?
For this project I only had one person in my group other than me. Which was Simon Cross a dear friend of mine going back since sixth grade. I was very happy I got him we worked on projects together and either we go full out or we just fail together. But this project we went out it’s huge explosion between the two of us. In the group I’m the one with the ideas and problem solving and Simon is the one thats hands on and is ready to do any challenge. We could work on is getting side-tracked, we get off track easily and didn’t realize we were til the end of the period.
Paragraph 2: Talk about what you learned in Humanities, from reading Romeo and Juliet to conducting interviews to designing the art pieces to the anthropology lessons. How did you use Humanities thinking throughout this project?
Romeo and Juliet was the whole of this project. We got their love and based it off today's love and all these different types of experiments with Romeo and Juliet. With Anthropology we looked into different views of love around the world. Things that we see as Taboo the world outside views them as normal such as arranged marriage.
Paragraph 3: Talk about what you learned in Physics, from the various physics concepts like electricity and building circuits. How did you use Physics thinking throughout this project?
The physics we used in this project was okay. It wasn’t the hardest thing we have ever done but it wasn’t like last project where is was super duper easy. The physics we used was electricity and how to put together circuits. We did multiple experiments with wires and batteries.
Paragraph 4: Talk about what you learned in Engineering, from the learning of new tools to the applying of physics concepts. How did you use Engineering thinking throughout this project?
With engineering it played a huge role in this project. Our main product was a latern our senior citizen and we designed the lantern with adobe illustrator. Which was used mainly in Engineering. My partner made the adult piece in this class. We also learned more how to build circuits and different types of circuits with different items.
Paragraph 5: Talk about exhibition and your final products. How do you feel about what you had to offer to the group? How would you grade yourself in terms of our 9th grade learning outcomes: work ethic, collaboration, oral communication, written communication, content knowledge? Which learning outcome do you feel you are strong in? Why? Which learning outcome do you feel you need growth in? Why? In this paragraph, make any other connections that you have not already had an opportunity to make, and share any lingering thoughts or questions from the project.
I think I should get an A to an A+ for this project. I believe I did an excellent job with this project. For my partner Simon I knew how he worked what his habits were. Simon and I worked together really well with this project and came out with a pretty great outcome of products. In this group I was the one that came up with ideas and did computer work when SImon was the handyman and was ready to put my ideas into real life products.
